Greeting,
The Harris County is going to be activated for the storm in the gulf. I am
in El Paso and will be back tomorrow evening.
I just looked at the radar and at this point it looks like the bulk of the
WX is going to go to the east of us. That is no excuse not to keep
informed.
As always keep an ear on 146.640 and 147.000 for additional information.
If you need anything until I get back you can get in touch with George AD5CQ
& David, KB5PGY or any of your other AEC's
Mike

This is the note I received from Keith at the Harris County EOC
asking that we staff the EOC for Tropical Storm Humberto beginning
today at 1800 hours. This is expected to be a rain event with large
amounts and possible flooding. NWS has issued TS warnings from PORT
O'Connor, Texas, to Cameron, LA. At 1300 hours the storm was centered
on LAT 28.3 N .. LON 95.1 W (~70 Mi south of Galveston) moving ~ 6
Mph and is expected to be crossing the Texas coast within the warning
area sometime tonight.
Bill, N5LYG, is the OIC.. He's already sent out activation messages
and made contacts to staff the EOC initially. Please contact him
with available resources on 281 733 0705.
73,
Ken
Bill, N5LYG, is the OIC for this event.
