[ARES-SE] FW: Database update

I tried to input my phone numbers. the segments have a green question mark in the spaces. the program wouldn't let me add them

I need everyone to go to the ARES Database (http://www.harriscountyares.org/aresdb/) and enter all of the information that will allow us to be able to contact you.  We need especially: email address and phone numbers.  Also please be sure that you have identified which quadrant (we call it “unit”) you are in.  This information is very important to us and will greatly assist us in the future when we need to find personnel to help support an event.  The more information you can provide us the better we will know what we have to work with in the future.

All,
 
Our database person K5WTF reports that "only 42 of 293 (14.33%) have joined at least one activation group".
 
Please implore your unit members to update this catagory of their information in the database. Group email notifications are now possible thru the database.  
 
"They can join as many groups as they want to be activated for.  They should choose one as their primary (their Quadrant/Unit/Package whatever) and set that on the same page".

"They should choose when joining a group, how they would like to be contacted through that group.  This is how they can specify if they only want to receive email or would like to receive email and text etc.  Any callup tree for a group should be generated using this flag as well to ensure only the people wishing to get called by phone are called for that group".

"Also! SMS Addresses work now.  CARRIER FEES MAY APPLY!!!! They can add as many of these as they want".
