For a Cat 1 or 2 hurricane I will probably stay in friendswood and for a Cat 3,4,&5 I will probably evacuate.

In the event of any emergency in the clear lake area I plan to monitor the primary and backup ham frequencies that you designate.

I have mobile HF, 2 meter and 440 MHz capability.

Michael Moore N5RWH and I have each have an IRLP simplex node in the clear lake area that are available for public service use.

I am also interested in the hospital mesh network that the Austin hams are implementing in their area for back up internet in the event of a failure of the regular commercial internet. Here is a link for more info:
