Eddie,

Thanks for your note.  I was just thinking about you today and wondering how
you were recovering from the tower mishap.  I am looking forward to having
you back in the saddle again.  Glad to hear that you will back on the air
again soon.  Thanks for your confidence.  I have a lot of learning to do so
bear with me for awhile.

I am unable to know just who is a part of this email list.   That is an
issue that I am working on.  In the meantime I am asking you to respond to
this note and let me know:

1. That you want to continue to be a member of the Southeast ARES (please
say "yes")

 

Yes, I want to continue to be a member.  George, I am in the process of
putting up a new tower and antennas that I hope to have in place by the
first part of August.  Once I have all my antennas up again I will be happy
to resume duties as a net control operator for the ARES net if you need me.
I am also willing to assist in any other way  you might use my efforts.

 

2. What are your general plans in the event of a hurricane?  Do you plan to
evacuate or is there a served agency that you plan to support or just plan
to ride it out?

 

For the most part we plan to ride out any storms that might hit this area
and support ARES activities as needed and able, but remain flexible in
evacuating if the storm size warrants.

 

3. What is the best way of contacting you?  What is an alternate method of
contact for you?
