Great, thanks David. I do want to talk with you and Steve more in the
future about the Coast Guard involvement and how ARES can be a support.

Not sure why so many people are replying to all, but here's my information:

YES, please continue to include me on the list.

Based on my involvement with the Coast Guard, the plan is to secure my
home and provide for safe relocation of my family before anything else.
Once operations can resume, I will be reporting back to Ellington Field or
Transtar, or wherever they decide to deploy me. Most likely, I will be in
a communications role. And as the Coast Guard will be the top of the chain
of authority for these type of events, it might be a good idea for there
to be a person in communications in a position with the CG who also has
ties to ARES. I can explain more when we have a chance to talk.

Email: david at accomp.com (The mail server is at my house, and will be
offline in the event of evacuation)
Secondary Email: dhoffman_98 at yahoo.com
Home Phone: 281-286-3754
Cell Phone: 713-301-7789
I also have access to various instant messengers via my blackberry, but
that will of course depend on the availability of the cell phone towers.
