All,

 

The monthly meeting of the NW ARES Unit is scheduled for Tuesday October 14
at 6:30 PM at Transtar. This is not an invitation or demand for you to
attend, although all are welcome to attend. This meeting is chaired by the
NW Unit EC Sharon KC8EO.

 

I am personally interested in speaking with anyone in your quadrant that
would be interested in becoming a Transtar net control operator in future
emergency needs. This is not a "anyone who wants to show up" call as there
is a screening process for and by the served agency. There is not a
requirement to be an ARES member. We are also taking personal
recommendations from the EC's and others for these positions. Personal
recommendations must be from past experiences with the potential candidates.

 

I would like to give the candidates a tour of the facility and explain what
is needed. Only appropriately groomed candidates will be considered. 

 

Similar pre-screened positions for the George R Brown and shadows for high
ranking local officials are needed.
