- Harris County will go to Level 1 activation at 0800 tomorrow

- the hurricane has slowed and is moving more north (more towards us)

- the winds will be very widespread - 220 miles radius for tropical storm
winds, 80 miles for hurricane force winds

- 115 mph winds expected at landfall

- coastal flooding is expected to be severe at landfall with perhaps 8'
tidal surge and 6" of rain

- no State buses have arrived yet for evacuation
